The petition of Robert Perry of Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire, Michaelmas 1653

To the right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the Peace at the generall Sessions holden att Marlebrough
The humble petic[i]on of Robert Perry of Greate Bedwin in this County being a maymed souldier
Sheweth
That yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r hath now accordinge to the order of a late Sessions holden at the Deuises brought in a certificate w[hi]ch is herevnto anexed w[hi]ch yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r hath obteyned to giue this wor[shipfu]ll bench satisfaction of yo[u]r poore pet[itione]rs faithfull seruice towards this com[m]on wealth w[hi]ch yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner hopeth wil be satisfactory:
May it therefore please yo[u]r wor[shi]ps to consider the pr[e]misses, and order a penc[i]on may be alotted to yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r who otherwise haueinge noe freinds able to support him must of necessity perish.
And yo[u]r petic[i]oner shall euer &c
ref[er] to Mr Martyn Mr Sadler & Mr Blissett or any 2 to exa[mine] & certifie vnto Mr Martyn to be [?one]
