Representing Disability in Shakespeare’s World

‘Representing Disability in Shakespeare’s World’ was a collaboration between Civil War Petitions and The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) to produce a special performance to shed new light on representations and treatments of disabled veterans both in Shakespeare’s time and in the present. The film also includes an afterword by disability historian Daniel Blackie. It was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and organised as part of the ESRC’s ‘Festival of Social Science Week’.
