The order for Robert Perry of Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire, 4 October 1653

<Wiltes[hire] s[ession]s>

At the gen[er]all Quarter Sessions of the publique Peace to bee for the County afforesaid holden at Marlebrough in the same County the Fowerth day of October 1653.

Whereas this Co[u]rt is informed by the humble Petic[i]on of Robert Perry of great Bedwyn in this County that hee haue binn in the states service, & there received certeine wounds soe that hee is disabled to gett his Maintenance It is therefore nowe ordered by this Co[u]rt that it shal bee referred to Mr Martyn Mr Sadler & Mr Blissett three of the Justices of the Peace of the County aforesaid or to any two of them soe as the said Mr Martyn bee one, who are desired to examine the pr[e]misses & to certifye at the next Sessions what they haue donne therein.

Ex: by Will[ia]m Coles Cl[erk] of the Peace.

These [illegible] certifie [illegible] Robert Parker of Greate Beddinge in this County that [illegible] Robert Parry of Charnam Street Great Bedding aforesaid did take vp Armes in Charnam Street to serue the States att the signe of the Bell.

7o January 1653

M[emoran]d[um] that Rob[er]t Parker of Greate Bedwyn husbandman then came before vs & made affidavit that Rob[er]t Perry above menc[i]oned did take vpp Armes vnder the Comaund of one Capt[ain] Juley in Charnum Streete in the p[ar]ish of Hungerford
