We the Inhabitants of East Knoyle, whose names are vnder written, w[i]th all due respect, & obseruance doe humbly recom[m]end the distressed Case of this our poore neighbo[u]r Richard Ricketts to the Consideration of ye hon[oura]ble Court of the Assizes, as well knowing, and being sensible of his otherwise helplesse Condition, and doe heereby humbly ioyne w[i]th him in this his Petition (for releife) to the sayd hon[oura]ble Court, as alsoe in Prayer for their happines &c

We, the inhabitants of East Knoyle, whose names are underwritten, with all due respect and observance, humbly recommend the distressed case of this our poor neighbour, Richard Ricketts to the consideration of the Honourable court of the Assizes, as well knowing and being sensible of his otherwise helpless condition. And we do hereby humbly join with him in his petition (for relief) to the said Honourable court, as also in prayer for their happiness etc.
