To the right Wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the Peace for the Countie of Wiltes[hire]

The humble petic[i]on of Thomas Champion of Downeton in the said County husbandman

Sheweth

That yo[u]r petic[i]oner hath had a pension of 4 li. p[er] Annu[m] graunted vnto him and yo[u]r pet[itione]r by reason of his Loyalty to his king was wounded in his service at Lansdowne & Bristoll and was contrary to this pet[itioner’]s will pressed for ye Parlyam[en]t side

Yo[u]r pet[itioner’]s humble request is that yo[u]r wor[shi]pps wil bee pleased by order of Sessions for the to graunt him a pension of 4 li. p[er] Annu[m] as formerly

And yo[u]r pet[itioner]s &c

The petic[i]oner was allowed 40 s. a yeare penc[i]on to be paid by the Tresurer of the South p[ar]te of this County
