These are to certifie all whome it may Concerne that the bearer hereof William Walter being formerly a souldier under the Command of Captaine Richard Knollis belonging to the garison of Chichester; and being drawn out of the garison to march into the west; where att the takeing of Stowee house; was shot through the arme, and did breake all the bones of the ioynt of the Elbow, by reason whereof he is rendered vncapable of vsing his trade
