Theise are to Certifie All those to whome it may Concerne That the bearer heerof William Walter formerly A Souldier and Officer vnder my Com[m]and in the Parliament service Dureinge the whole tyme of my Companyes standinge in the said service hee hath received a Woound in his Arme, At the takeing of Stowee Howse in Summersettsheere, Which hath bin the vndoeinge of him by Reason of the said Wound which was a shott which brake the boone of his Arme in peeces, soe that Eleauen splenters weare taken out thereof, And since the healeing thereof it breaketh out every yeere, which wil bee the vtter vndooeing of him Besides hee having a wife and Children w[i]th himsellfe to mainetaine Which hee is not able to Subsist withall by reason of the said woond and loss of the vse of his Arme vnles you wil bee pleased to take his poore estate into yo[u]r serious Considerac[i]on, Wittness my hand:
