Thes are to Certifye whomsoever it may Concerne that Timothy Newbey was a souldier in my troope, ever since the Lo[r]d Fairfax first was made Gener[a]ll vntill the fight with the scots, at Preston, wher he received a wound in one of his hands, and ever since hath deserted ye service Dat this 16 of 10ber 1648.
