The certificate for Robert Landman of Burlescombe, Devon, 5 July 1673

To the Honerable the Commissinors for distributeinge the monys Given by Act of Parliam[en]t amongst ye truely Loyall and Indigent officers Souldiers.
These are therefore to Certifie that it doth appeare unto us that Robert Landman of our p[ar]ish of Burlescomb in the County of Devon, he beinge in a very Ille Condic[i]on Conserninge his wounds in his Legs and other places elce where, which is now more worce and paine fully unto hime then formerly itt hath beene, therefore he makes this sad complaint unto us, p[ar]ishioners by Reason that the halfeindeall of his Mag[es]ties Hospitalaty hath beene keepp from hime allmost this Twelve month which is very one equall beine in such sad cappasitie as now he is, therefore we hope that itt will be taken into Considerac[i]on that Rob[ert] Lanman may have his full pay as formerly itt was, this Given under o[u]r hands Burlescombe ye 5th day of this Instant Jully 1673.

July the 9th 1673. I doe thinke that the contents of the within written peticion is true although not sett forth in such forme as it ought and therefore I desire that his former pencion may bee granted him.
