The humble petic[i]on of the Churchwardens and overseers w[i]th the inhabitants of Robrindalle beinge but a p[ar]te of the Townshipp of Hornby

Sheweth

That whereas one Anne Prockter and twoe Children hath had releife for the space of three yeares w[hi]ch did amount to the some of sixe pounds, her husband beinge then a prest souldior and now is returned in to England, and as hee saith is able for to mentayne his wife and Children of him selfe w[i]th out anie further trouble to the Contrye, yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]rs desire is that they may haue their p[ro]porc[i]o[n]able p[ar]te of the Sixe pounds aboue said forth of Hornby.

May it theirfore please yo[u]r wor[shi]pps for to take the pr[e]mises in to yo[u]r graue considerac[i]ons and for to grant yo[u]r wor[shi]pps order furth of thie wor[shi]pp[ful] Court yt the f[ore]said Anne Prockter and her Children may avoyde the place of her abode, her husband beinge able to mentayne them as afor[e]said and yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]rs as in dutie bound will euer pray.
