To the Honorable Bench &c.

May it please yo[u]r honors: William Parker of Buckland Filly in the County of Devon did Petic[i]on yo[u]r Honors for some Assistance or Pention out of the County Stocke yesterday, yo[u]r petic[i]oner being one yt did serve his late maj[es]tie of ever blessed memory w[i]thin this kingdome and our now gratious Sov[er]aigne in Tangier for ye space of 16 years as is well known by some honorable and worthy p[er]sons w[hi]ch was pleased to subscribe their names to my said Petic[i]on for the trueth and conformacion thereof, yo[u]r peticioner is grown old and Impotent not possible to subsist without reliefe in his old age necessity compelling him humbly to beg yo[u]r honors to grant him some assistance or pention.

And yo[u]r Peticioner shall in duty bound ever pray &c

<Fiat ordo That on Releefe to ye Pet[itione]r by ye P[ar]ish shall have a Pension in prox[imo] Sess[ions]>
