To the wor[shi]p[fu]l the Justices of the Peace of ye County of Denbigh ye Petic[i]on of Will[ia]m Griffith ap Rhytherch

Humbly sheweth

That yo[u]r peticoner hauing faithfully served his late Ma[jes]ty of blessed memory as a priuate Soldier in ye late vnhappy wars for ye space of Foure yeares & vpward as by a Certificate herevnto annexed may appeare & hauing a charge of small children w[hi]ch he is not able to maintaine by his labour & industry by reason of his sickly condic[i]on, May it therefore please yo[u]r wor[shi]ps to take yo[u]r peticoners distressed condic[i]on into serious considerac[i]on & to appoint him somewhat out of ye maimed soldiers mize towards ye reliefe of him & his &

yo[u]r peticoner shall euer pray.
