To ye Right hono[oura]ble the Com[mi]ttee for the Army.

The humble petic[i]on of [illegible] Thomasin Stoddard wife & Adm[inistratri]x of J[oh]n Stoddard

Sheweing

That yo[u]r pet[itione]rs husband hath faithfully serued the parl[iamen]t from ye begin[n]ing of ye new Modell as Leif[tenan]t in Cap[tain] Sym[m]ons his Company in the late Regim[en]t of Major Gen[era]ll Skippon Regim[en]t In which seruice he behaued himselfe valiantly & soe continued till he was slayne in the seruice as by Certificate vnder ye hand of Major Cobbett appeareth dureing w[hi]ch tyme he paid his q[uar]ters for the space of two years as is certified by the said Major.

In regard whereof yo[u]r pet[itione]r desireth yo[u]r Hono[u]rs to giue order for the stateing of her husbands accompte, & payment of his arreares without deduction

And shee shall pray &c.
