The humble pettic[i]on of Tho[mas] Jace
Sheweth
That yo[u]r pettic[i]on[er] in the begininge of the Late troubles, hee did w[i]th the first put himselfe in Armes for his late Ma[jes]tie of ever blessed memory and that hee was a serieant to the Company of Maior Edward Done in the Reg[i]m[en]t of the Right honorable John Lord Earle Riuers and that hee hath bin a great sufferer for his Constant affecc[i]on to his Ma[jes]t[y]s Cause and that his Condic[i]on is very nessesit[?ous] not able to mayntayne himselfe
In tend[e]r Considerac[i]on whereof and forasmuch as yo[u]r poore pettic[i]on[er] hath euer Continued loyall to his Ma[jes]tie euer blessed memory & to his Ma[jes]tie that now is and hath not a liuelyhoode for to Mayntayne himselfe, yo[u]r pettic[i]oner doth humbly pray in p[er]suance of a Late Actt of Parl[i]am[en]t in that behalfe that yo[u]r pettic[i]on[er] may haue such yearly penc[i]on[er] assigned vnto him as yo[u]r wor[shi]pps shall thinke meete accordinge to yo[u]r wonted Clemencie and
yo[u]r pettic[i]on shall euer pray
