The Justices of peace at the Quarter Sessions houlden at Knutsford this 11 of October 1653.
The humble petition of Thomas Deane of Bollen Fee in the Countie of Chester greetinge.
Sheweth vnto yo[u]r hon[ou]rs That yo[u]r saide poore petitioner haueinge laboured from time to time at eu[er]y Quart[e]r Sessions, for his reliefe beeinge a maimed souldier souldier for Areares due vnto him yo[u]r saide petic[i]o[n]er w[hi]ch he canott gett yett gett, yo[u]r saide petic[i]on[e]r beeinge yet involued in the booke, yet not haueinge receiued his due pay Quarterly from the Treasurer appointed for the discharge therof, is still retarded & kept backe
In tender Considerac[i]on herof yo[u]r said petitioner craueth & most humbly prayeth for Reliefe herin & will eu[er] pray for yo[u]r health & happiness in the lord
And this for gods Cause.
Yo[u]r saide petitioner is xl s. in Arears
