To the Right hono[ura]ble the Justices of Peace assembled att there Sessions att Nampwitch

The humble Petition of Ralph Hassall of Minshall Carpenter

<Sheweth>

That yo[u]r humble Petitioner hath serued his Majestie in the office of a Serjeant vnder the Command of Captaine Thomas Minshall all the late warres & hath receaued great wounds by his Loyallty to the Hasard of his life & neuer serued any other Command but his Majesties, & hath beene sequestred to the value of Two hundred pounds as will be made manifest which hath very much Impoverished yo[u]r Petitioner soe that he is not in a Capacity to obtaine a liuelyhood by his hand labor but left destitute if not releiued.

The pr[e]misses considered yo[u]r poore Petitioner humbly leaues the certificate hereunto annexed to be read & taken into yo[u]r serious considerations whereby he may haue some annuall allowance according as yo[u]r wisdomes shall thinke fitt & requisite

& hee will euer pray &c
