The humble petition of a poore widdowe Johan Head of Staverton

Humbly sheweth

That whereas yo[ur] poore petition[er]s husband late deceased was a man of a good & honest conv[er]sation & very harty in the P[ar]liam[en]t service & therein he was mortally wounded in the Garison of Dartmouth under Capt[ain] Upton and after eighteene weeks miserable languishing under the chururgions hands he dyed £3-10-0 in debt to his Chururgion who very often threatens to troble & arrest yo[ur] poore petition[er] for same
