To ye Right Hon[ou]r[a]ble his Ma[jes]ties Justices of Peace att ye Quarter Sessions of ye peace to bee holden for this County of Northampton[shire]

The Humble Petition of Jane Bearsly of Allwinckle in ye s[ai]d Count[y] of North[amp]ton[shire] spinster

Humbly sheweth

That whereas your poore Petitioner is ye Widdow of John Bearsly, who was a faithfull & valiant soldier und[e]r ye Com[m]and of Capt[ain] Thomas Barton att Belvoir Castle as by his Certificate appeareth, who did receive a Pension of three pound a yeare whilst hee lived, for his good service to his late Ma[jes]tie which is now but being dead, & your poore Petitioner being a Widdow with foure small Childre, & in great want & Penury, your Poore Peti[ti]oner Humbly desireth that your Hono[u]rs will order, that shee may receive ye pension formerly given to her deceased Husband. And your petioner shall allwayes pray &c.
