The humble petic[i]on of George Hall of Or[mskir]ke shoomaker
<Sheweth>
That yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r haveinge for seu[er]all yeares togeth[e]r beene in his Majesties service a souldier both in England & Ireland vnd[e]r the Comand of the Lord Gen[er]all Moncke, in w[hi]ch service hee yo[u]r poore peticion[e]r lost the vse of one of his Leggs as may appeare by the certificate herevnto annexed, the losse thereof tends wholy to yo[u]r peticion[e]rs disadvantage of getting his liveinge, But hee yo[u]r pet[itione]r haveinge a desire to travell to London hopeing there to find releefe desireth yo[u]r wor[shi]ps to comiserate his Condic[i]on & to grant yo[u]r ord[e]r that hee may have the free lib[e]rty to fouer of the next p[ar]ish Churches for a Collection towards the charg of yo[u]r peticion[e]rs goeing vp to London
The premisies considered yo[u]r peticion[e]r desires yo[u]r good worship to grant him the order desired his wants being soe great hee is forced herevnto & in yo[u]r doeing hereof hee will ever pray for yo[u]r worshippps.
