These are to Certifie all whome it may concerne that George Hall sonne to Robert Hall of Preston in Amound[e]rnes alwayes was and yet is a true and faithfull subject vnto his Ma[jes]tie that now is and that he was three yeares a soldier vnder the Comand of the Duke of Albemarle in Ireland And came over w[i]th him Into England and att the battle att Nant=Witch in Chesheir he the said George Hall received a shott in his knee whereby he became lame and hath vtterly lost the vse of his legg and thereby rendered vncapable to worke for his liveing and mantaine himselfe wife and Children as formerly
