The humble petition of Edward Turner of Hindon
Sheweth
That yo[u]r Pet[itione]r hath been in ye late war in his Ma[jes]tie Seruice and hath receiued many dangerous wounds in diuers parts of his body, by reason whereof yo[u]r poor Pet[itione]r is disabled to worke as formerly he hath done toward the maintenance of himselfe his wife and children, Soe that hee is like to come into a very sad and poor condic[i]on.
Most humbly therefore yo[u]r Pet[itione]r desireth yo[u]r Wor[shi]pps to take it into yo[u]r considerac[i]ons and to grant him an order to receiue some yearly pension from ye Hospitall towards his maintenance and yo[u]r Pet[itione]r shall dayly pray for yo[u]r Wor[shi]pps prosperity.
We know the contents hereof to bee true Witnesse our hands
