To the Right Worshipfull his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace and Quorum at A generall sessions of the peace houlden At Ormskirke the 19th day of Aprill An[no] Dom[ini] 1675
The humble petition of Edward Moadsley of Latham sheweth That your petition[e]r beinge A poore Aged and Indigent souldier and haueinge noe suffitient maintenance of his owne to liue on, obtained an order at A generall sessions at Wigan for the yearly reliefe of twenty shillings, the which order by false Information Against your Peittion[e]r was reduced to ten shillings A yeare which pention beinge soe small and Insufficient for the supply of your Peti[tion]ers greate necessities hee growing more Aged and Impotent therefore your petti[ti]oner humbly prayes your good Worships, to take his poore Condition into your Charitable Considerations and renew his former order of twenty shillings A yeare and your Petition[e]r As bound in duty shall Ever for your good worships pray
