To the Honerable the Lords & Commons of the Committee of the Armie
The Humble petition of Anthonie Carpender
A poore wounded & Lame souldyer in the sauoy Hospittall
Sheweth
That your petitioner served as Footte siouldyer in the Regimentt of Col[one]l Rainsbury vnder Captain Browne euer sence the reduc[e]mentt of the Armie in w[hi]ch service your petitioner receiued A shott in his Legg at Woodstocke & sence is broken out againe of w[hi]ch wound hee lyeth vnder Cure in the sayd Hospittall being in A Lamentable sick & helplesse Condition
That your poore petitioner hath for his sayd service arreares due in the Armie as by the muster Roulles vpon search will appeare
May itt please this Honerable Com[m]ittee to consider your poore petitioners greatt missery & necessity in his helpless estate nott able to com out of his bed for the anguish & missery of his wound, & off your Clemencie to such of his condition wherby hee may have a debentor & warrant for the receiuing of his sayd Arreares to Releiue him in this his sad disasture that is Fallen vpon him
& as bound hee shall pray
