Thesse are to certifie that the barrer hearof Anthony Carpenter hath bin a Muskateare in my company in Col[one]l Rainborowes Readgm[en]t this three yeares in w[hi]ch seruice he hath Receaued a hurt in his legg w[hi]ch was healed & about two mounthes since yt break forth againe therfore I desire that the masters of the sauoy would take him into the Ospetall wherby he may haue his cuer he being a very honest youth & a good soldier Giuen vnder my hand this 15th of Nouember 1647 at Vpner Castle in Kent
