To ye Right Hono[ura]ble ye Com[mi]ttee for the Army.

The humble petic[i]on of Anne Kirby late wife & Adm[inistrat]r[i]x of Josias Kirby dec[eased].

Sheweing

That yo[u]r pet[itione]rs husband faithfully serued the Parl[iamen]t as Corp[or]all to Capt[ain] Renold Gales Comp[an]y in Col[one]l Hewsons Reg[imen]t & after as Sargent to ye Col[one]l owne Company from ye begin[n]ing of the new Modell, vnder his Ex[cellen]cie the Lord Fairfax till he was slayne vpon Sally att Deale Castle in Kent ag[ains]t the Enemy there as by Certificate vnder ye hands of L[ieutenan]t Col[one]l Axtell appeareth and Colonell Hewson appeareth:

In considerac[i]on whereof, there being some arreares due to her said Husband for his seruice yo[u]r pet[itione]r humbly prayeth yo[u]r Hono[u]rs to giue order for the stateing her husbands accompts & payment thereof.

And shee shall pray &c.
