To the right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the Keepers of the lib[er]ty of England by Authority of Parliam[en]t

The humble petic[i]on of Ambros Gay of Feilden in the County aforesaid

<Humbly sheweth>

That yo[u]r Pet[itione]r (as appeareth by the Certificate herevnto annexed) hath bin a souldyer vnder the Com[m]and of his Excellency Thomas Lord Fairfax.

That (as it is alsoe Appeareth by ye same note) yo[u]r pet[itione]r is wolly [sic.] dissabled to get his mayntenance by meanes of a wound received a [sic.] the leagure at Farrington

Yo[u]r pet[itione]r heartyly beggeth releife of this ho[noura]ble Court w[i]thout whose assistance he is like to p[er]ish, And he shall heartyly pray for you &c

alloc[ate] 4 m[ar]ks yerely from Th[reasur]er of the south p[ar]te
