The certificate for Ambros Gay of Figheldean, Wiltshire, 16 January 1649

These may Certifie all whom it Consearnes that the bearer heareof Ambros Gay waggoner vnder quarter master Millard in the Trayne of Artillerey haueing bene longe in the Parlement Servis vnder the Command of his Excellencie S[i]r Tho[mas] Fayrefax was wounded at the Legar before Farrington in the sayd servis and thereby disabled of getting [illegible] living by labor dated this p[re]sent third of February 1647.
