To the Right Wor[shi]ppfull the Justices [of] the Peace for this County of Darby now Assembled in open Court of Sessions.

The Petition of John Mathew of Losco in the p[ar]ish of heanour

Humbly Sheweth

That yo[u]r petitioner was a Soldier vnder the Comand of Captaine Bagshaw & was Plundred of all that hee had by the Earle of Newcastles Forces And hath lyen lame aboue twelue moneths haueinge a wife & two small children in w[hi]ch tyme hee hath spent all his houshould goods And is Allmost Starued for want of releife And vpon Complaint to this Courte yo[u]r petitioner was ordered to haue the Allowance of Twelue pence vntill this Sessions

May it therefor please this Courte the pr[e]misses Considered to order that some Competent mentaynance may be Continued to yo[u]r petitior otherwise hee & his are like to p[er]ish for want; & yo[u]r petitioner will euer pray &c.

12 d. p[er] weeke more till next Sessions
