whereas James March of Aspull hath Asigned mee John Laithwaite the sum of twenty shillings which he was to Reseue being one of the maymed Soulders from the Treasuer Mr John Moxon for this yeare I do Accknowl[ed]g[e] that I haue Rese[ve]d the said twenty shillings from Mr John Moxon and if Mr Moxon be forst to pay the said twenty shillings aney other way I doe heere by promes to Repay the said twenty shillings Back to Mr Moxon in wittnes her of, I haue sett my hand
