These are to certifie yt William buckingame of Oure s[ai]d p[ar]ish beinge a Maymed man hath liued & honest & laboryous life ever since I know him which is all most twenty yeares, to my knoweledg Wittness my hand

I have ever heard it credibly affirmed that he was a souldier in the Kings army where he received divers wounds, & that he hath been an honest laborious man I have knowne these many yeares
