The order for William West of Wanborough, Wiltshire, 24 April 1655

<Wiltsheire s[ession]s> At the gen[er]all quarter Sessions of the publique peace for the county aforesayd holden att the Devizes the 24th day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord god 1655

Whereas yt appeareth to this Court by a Certificate vnder the hand of Leiftennant Henry Consly that Will[ia]m West of Wanborough in the county aforesayd served the p[ar]li[a]m[en]t vnder the comand of Captaine Will[ia]m Francklin in the comand regiment of Collonell Fines, in which service he received a dangerous wound; by meanes whereof he is disabled to labor for the maintenance of himselfe & family which this Court takeinge into Considerac[i]on doth order & allowe the sayd Will[ia]m West the yearely penc[i]on of forty shillings, to be payd him quarterly by the Tre[asure]r of the North p[[ar]te of his county to com[m]ence & beginn at Midsomer Sessions next & soe to continue vntill this Court see cause to alter the same
