To John Winne and Francis Manley Esq[ui]r[e]s treasurers of ye Maymed souldiers for ye Countie of Denbigh

Forasmuch as we haue receiued testimony by certificate vnder the hand and seal of Capt[ain] Ellis Sutton yt Thomas ap Richard of wrexham in ye Countie of Denbigh yeom[an] hath faithfully and Constantly served his late Ma[jes]tie of blessed memorie as a souldier in the late warrs vnder Cornell Robinson and Capt[ain] Sutton in which service he was taken prisoner att naseby and received divers wounds where by he hath loste his health and wasted his Estate in ye said service by reason whereof he hath not whereby to mayntaine himselfe his wife and Children it is therefore ordered yt the said treasurers or one of them doe forthwith paye to ye said John ap John Thomas ap Richard ye sum[m]e of five shillings towards ye maintenance of him and his family vntill the next quarter Sessions and that then he maye be recommended to ye Bench for such yearly Pension as they shall thinke fit given vnder our hands and seals ye thirdteenth daye of June in ye {?xvi} yeare of his Ma[jes]ties Raigne 1664
