These are to Certifie that Thomas ap Richard of wrexham in the County of Denbigh yeom[an] was a soldier in the seruice of his late Ma[jes]ty during the greatest p[ar]te of the wars p[ar]ticulerly that he was vnder the Comand of Collonell Robinson and also vnder my owne Comand. That he hath receaued diuers wounds and hath byn a prisoner taken at Naseby, That to the best of my knowledge or what I haue euer heard he hath continued loyall in the worst of tymes and that he is poore & indigent not able to subsist without releef witnesse my hand & seale the 16th day of June 1664.
