On my Certificate form[er]ly Daniell Hewlett of Barwicke St James in this County of Wiltes[shire] that he was an officer vnd[e]r my Comand for the form[e]r King Charles the first, & that he rec[eive]d wounds w[hi]ch disabled him to worke as form[e]rly, and that he was & is a Loyall Subject At a Sessions held att Saru[m] the 12 day of January in ye fifteeneth yeere of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord King Charles the second now of England &c It was ord[e]red that the Treasurer for this County of Wiltes[hire] should pay vnto him an yeerely penc[i]on of forty shillings, w[hi]ch was for some yeeres payd, but of late neglected. I therefore desire you would pay him the arreares thereof, & Continue ye paym[en]t of that Penc[i]on allowed, & herein you will save me some trouble for I must have itt done, & soe I remayne
