I doe hereby Certifiie yt the bearer hereof William Scott of Fillingham in ye County of Lincolne labour[e]r as by did voluntaryly engage himselfe as a soldjer vnder my Com[man]d for ye parliam[en]t: And was also afterward in the Regim[en]t of Collonel Christopher Legard, & in his owne Troop was dangerously wounded att ye fight att Nantwitch, & thereby made incapable of getting his Liveing by his labour in testimony whereof I haue herevnto subscribed my hand this 29th of November 1658.
