Theis may certifie all whom it doth concern that Jospeh Archer late of chiswell street in the County of Midd[lesex] Heelemaker was Quartermaster to my Regiment, and at the Seidge & taking in of Bristoll by S[i]r Thomas Fairfax was slaine. As doth witnes my hand this sixteenth day of September An[n]o D[o]m[ini] 1648
