This is to sattif{ie} that William Ratlefe was a souldier in my Compenie in Ierland a yeere and a halfe and hee haue resaiued a wound in thee Sarues whareby hee is not fitte for futer sarues I therefore did discharge him from my cumpenie and the gouerner hath geuen him a pas for England this is therefore to desire all home it doath or may consarn to aseste the said William Ratlefe oneward of his iurnie as a night in a plase hee be {illegible}ce himself as becometh.
