These are to certifie that the bearer hereof Thomas Will[ia]m of Garthgarnon w[i]thin the p[ar]ishe of Llanrwst in the County of Denbigh hath served his late ma[jes]tie of ever blessed memorie in the Regiment of Colonell Hugh Wynne and there continued whilest the saied Regiment were in beinge and in all that tyme hath behaued himselfe vearie faithfull and as a true and loyall subjecte ought to doe he never deserted his Collours and still carried himselfe since as it becomed a reall subjecte.
