These are to certifie that the bearer hereof Thomas William of Garthgarmon within the p[ar]ish of Llanroost in the County of Denbigh hath served his Late M[ajes]tie of ever blessed memory in the warrs in my Regiment, there continnued whilest it was in being in all w[hi]ch time he behaued himselfe very faithfull, and as a true and loyall subiect ought to doe, haueing never deserted his Colours, and since hath carried himselfe as it becomed a reall subject. In witnesse whereof I haue hereunto subscribed my name this twentieth day of March 1664
