These are to Certifie whom it may concerne that the bearer hereof Susanna Gilloway the late wife of Thomas Gilloway of Yardley in the County of North[amp]ton[shire] Keep[er] who served his Ma[jes]tie Charles the first of Blessed memory in the late warrs vnder the Com[m]and of the right hono[ura]ble James Earle of North[amp]ton a Corporall in his own troop faythfully as may appeare by Certificate vnder the hand of the s[ai]d Earle is now liveing a widdow in o[u]r p[ar]ish of Yardley affords[ai]d & is very aged & poore noe wise able to p[ro]vide for herselfe w[i]thout the Charity of others In testimony whereof wee haue herevnto set o[u]r hands this thirtith day of March in the yeare of o[u]r Lord 1668.
