These are to certifie his Ma[jes]t[ie]s Justices of the Peace, the hon[oura]ble Bench assembled att the Castle of Exon for ye County of Deuon

Hon[oura]ble wee whose names are herevnder subscribed haue seen the petic[i]on of Richard Garnesey and doe belieue the substance thereof to bee very true and that hee hath not been able as in the petic[i]on euer since to make vse of his hand, hee is an obiect of pittie: Giuen vnder our hands the Twentith day of August 1660 In Newton Abbott:
