These may Certifie all whom it may Concerne that Randle Knowlsley deceased was a soulder for the Comon=wealth of England in the late warres and serued for the space of fiue yeares in the Iland of Man: vnder the Comande of Captin Smith in the Regim[en]t of Col[one]l Robert Duckenfeild; afterwards vnder Maior Cadwell and Last of all in my Compenye in the garrison at Ramsey bay wher hee dyed: Duringe all w[hi]ch tearme hee behaued himselfe in the said service faithfully: Giuen vnder my hand this 2d day of November 1657:
