This are with all due respect to certify that John Morse of Lydiard Millisent in the County of Wilts[hire] was a, I verily beleeue and to the best of my memory a soldier in the regiment of the Right Honorable the late Earle of Lindsey who in the seruis of our late souerayne Lord King Charles the first of Blessed memory in w[hi]ch seruise I am fully perswaded hee receyued many diuerse wounds.
