We whose names are here vnder written doe humbly certifie that yo[u]r petic[i]oner is an honest poore man and on hath serued the state faithfull [sic.] in all p[er]formances soe far as wee euer heard and that both hee and his whole family haue had a long and tedious sicknesse, wee recom[m]end him to yo[u]r serious thoughts & are ready to doe you o[u]r best seruices.
