To the right wor[ship]full the Justices of the peace att the quarter Sessions helde for the Countie of Devon.

The humble Certificate of divers persons dwelling w[i]thin the parish of Molland in the foresaid County and neere adiacente thereunto

Vppon the earneste reqvestes & importunity of John Fisher of Molland aforesaid wee haue thought good, and haue imboldned o[u]r selues hereby to certifie vnto yo[u]r worshippes yt the said John Fisher became a Souldier about the beginnyng of the vnhappy warres in this kingdome in the p[ar]tie of the late soveraigne lord King Chares over this kingdome, and in that service did continue vntill he was so hurte & wounder [sic.] that by meanes thereof he is now become maymed & in a very pore condic[i]on All w[hi]ch wee humbly submitt & leaue to yo[u]r grave considerac[i]ons ever remayning
