These are to Certefie whom it may Concerne that John Dale serued the parlem[en]t as a troop[er] in my Troope vnder the Comaund of the Lord Brooke at the Seige of Leichfield where hee receued Divers wond wounds in his Lefte Arme & in his head whereby he is Disabled to follow his Callinge as formerly w[hi]ch was his liueliehood Witnes my hand and Seale this 2 Day of September 1652.
