this is to Certifie that Houmphrey Briskoe a soldier vnder the Command of Capt[ain] John Leche was shot with a Brace of Bullets verie dang[e]rously into the shoulder out of which came many Bones and he a longe time in Cure haueing notheing for his owne [illegible] relife and to pay for his Cure all this is true as wittnesse my hand
