Wee whose names are hearevnto subscribed being p[ar]is[h]on[e]rs of the p[ar]ish of Llanllechid & in the County of Carnarvon, Doe att the instante & request of of Harry ap Rees of Llanllechid afores[ai]d the bearer hearof humbly Certifie yt he in the tym{e} of the Reigne of the late Kinge, Charles of famous memorie oue[]r England &c was pressed ou{t} for the warres in Scotland & after to the warres in England att Edge Hill battle & diverse other places, whence he returned home wounded as is yet to be seene by the markes he beares, And soe wee Humblie rest, Dated the last day of December 1660:
