The certificate for Grigory Maior, Kent, 7 to 18 March 1653

Being Satisfyed that this Be{arer} Grigory Maior was maimed in the parliam[en]ts service I doe accordingly Certifie the same Desireing the Justices of the Peace for the County of Kent where (as I am informed) the s[ai]d Maior tooke vp armes to allow him a competent penc[i]on for his maint[e]n[an]ce according to the Statute: Given vnder my hand & seale ye 7th of March 1652.

Giuen this Bearer Gregorye Major fiue shillings to beare his Charges into Kent at Ely House the 8th daye of March 1652.

I doe verylie beeleue yt the bearer Gregory Maior hath bin formerly a soldier in ye parlaments seruice vnder my regiment in witness wherof at his request I giue him this certificat
