We the vicar churchwardens & ouerseers of the poor of the parish of Llanrhaiader in Mochnant in the County of Denbigh doe certify the wors[hi]p[fu]ll his Ma[jes]t[y]s Justices of the peace for the sayd county that we belieue that the petition of Edward Moris of Henvache containes nothing but truth & we assure them further that he is maimed & decrepit & a fitt object of charity & we hope your wor[shi]ps will grant him convenient reliefe as his petition supplicates Jan[uary] 11th 1677
